Miha immigrated to the United States in 2009. He was born and raised in Slovenia, also known as the “Green Mediterranean”. He has been a resident of South Bay for over 10 years and currently resides with his family in Torrance. Prior to opening up South Bay Pacific Insurance Group (SBP), Miha worked with CoveredHB Insurance Agency. He learned straightaway that health insurance in California was difficult to navigate. Without proper knowledge and support from a broker, it may be overwhelming and difficult to understand. Miha found himself spending numerous hours helping people who could not acquire insurance due to pre-existing conditions that needed specific coverage with specific doctors. He also assisted those seeking insurance without California residency. Miha also worked with group insurance plans that have fixed contributions, saving them thousands of dollars annually by researching best options on the market. Miha found fulfillment in finding ways to get these clients coverage and humbly succeeded. Since then he’s created his own group, SBP. He feels that everyone has the right to affordable health insurance, whether it be an individual or group. Miha believes that it is SBP’s purpose to keeping their clients healthy and happy.
